A 600 sq.ft spatial maze conceived as an immersive retail experience where circulation becomes design language, showcasing 50+ door designs and 100+ tile patterns through curated architectural vignettes

Spanning 600 sq. ft, the showroom is conceived as a spatial maze—an immersive, layered environment where circulation becomes the primary design language. Rather than a linear retail layout, the plan unfolds as a sequence of interlocking corridors and framed thresholds, choreographing movement into a curated journey of discovery.
The maze operates as both organizer and storyteller. A network of axial shifts, angular partitions, and compressed passages reveals over 50 door designs in a controlled, episodic manner. Each door is positioned within its own architectural vignette—precisely lit, proportioned, and detailed to foreground craftsmanship, grain, and joinery. These framed moments establish a rhythm of reveal and pause, allowing the user to engage with each piece individually.
Tiles are deployed as a continuous surface language, dissolving the distinction between floor and wall. Underfoot patterns guide movement through the labyrinth, while vertical planes articulate a diverse palette of over 100 tile designs—ranging in texture, scale, and geometry. This dual application transforms surfaces into directional and experiential tools rather than static displays.
Materiality anchors the experience—deep-toned timbers, muted greens, and brushed metallic accents create a grounded, tactile backdrop. Layered lighting—integrated, directional, and ambient—heightens contrast and depth, accentuating the dimensionality of each display.
The result is not a showroom, but an experiential landscape—where navigation becomes narrative, and selection evolves into exploration.
