A contemporary residence where the facade emerges from a careful exploration of geometry, voids, and solid masses, creating a balanced dialogue between built form and spatial absence through deliberate manipulation of rectilinear volumes and carved voids.

The architectural expression of the house emerges from a careful exploration of geometry, voids, and solid masses, where the facade is conceived as a balanced dialogue between built form and spatial absence. Rather than relying on ornamentation, the design draws its identity from the deliberate manipulation of rectilinear volumes and carved voids, creating a composition that is both contemporary and visually dynamic.
At the heart of the design is a large framing element that encapsulates the upper levels, forming a bold geometric outline that unifies the facade. Within this frame, the building mass is strategically recessed and projected, allowing terraces and balconies to emerge as intentional voids within the overall volume. These voids introduce depth, lightness, and spatial relief, preventing the structure from appearing monolithic while enhancing the experience of indoor–outdoor living.
The interplay between solid planes and transparent surfaces further reinforces this concept. Glass balustrades and expansive openings soften the heavier structural edges, allowing the voids to visually dissolve into the surrounding landscape. Vertical textured panels act as grounding elements, emphasizing the solidity of the architectural mass while contrasting with the openness of the recessed spaces.
