Idea:
Embarking on a captivating journey, this three-story home harmoniously accommodates a family of five. Merging opulence with functionality, the project captivates with its distinct charm. The outcome is a space seamlessly blending comfort and luxury, fulfilling the family’s lavish desires with an inviting and indulgent touch. Inspired by nature, the residence is aptly named “Melora.”

Challenges:
Every project introduces its unique set of challenges, and this one was no exception. Initially, we faced the daunting task of dealing with the poor structural quality, making the breakdown process challenging. Subsequently, seepage emerged as a significant issue in various parts of the villa, necessitating diverse solutions. Challenges related to demolition were also prevalent. Moreover, achieving a completely luxurious appearance presented an additional design challenge.

Design Concept:
In the initial design phase, substantial efforts were directed towards the demolition of existing structures and the construction of new walls, rooms, and a reconfigured internal circulation, which notably included the staircase. This comprehensive transformation aimed not only to expand the size of the spaces but also to enhance their functionality, aligning with the client’s specific requirements. The interior spans the ground floor, first floor, and basement, each meticulously crafted to cater to distinct user needs.

The ground floor is conceived as a semi-private domain, comprising a living room, dining room, kitchen, lobby, and private spaces such as a bedroom and office. Progressing to the first floor, the plan unfolds with four bedrooms, a Modern mandir design for Home, and a double-height space, introducing a sense of openness and grandeur. Finally, the basement is dedicated to recreational pursuits, housing a TV room and a servant room.

The residence’s contemporary style manifests as a fusion of elegance and functionality, sculpting a space that seamlessly combines modern aesthetics with practical design. The interior design places a deliberate emphasis on incorporating natural elements, complemented by a palette dominated by soothing brown hues. This intentional infusion of earthy tones and natural elements not only adds warmth to the spaces but also establishes a cohesive and inviting ambiance, contributing to the overall aesthetic appeal of the residence.
